Bonny Bonaparte (Drums) was born and raised on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. His early shows with popular local groups such as "The Trinidad Troubadours" followed by tours in the U.S., Canada, South America, The Virgin Islands, and most of the Caribbean gave Bonny the opportunity to perform with such diverse artists as James Brown, The Bee Gees, Natalie Cole, KC and the Sunshine Band, The Commodores, The Jackson 5, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, The Manhattans, Millie Jackson, B.T. Express, and many others. After returning home, Bonny played with Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, Yellowman, and recorded with Valentine, The Mighty Sparrow, Crazy, Calypso Rose, Tony Ricardo, and his mentor Earl Rodney and Friends. Bonny currently resides in Las Vegas, where he's performed with Clint Holmes, Dennis Miller, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Jeffrey Osborne, David Brenner, Soul Desire, Paul Christopher, Tony Tillman, and many others. Bonny has toured and recorded with Bruce Hornsby for several years, and is currently touring and recording with Spyro Gyra. Bonny is listed as one of the "Prominent & Influential R&B drummers of the 1990's" in "The Ten Commandments of R&B Drumming" (Zoro).
